Emergency Dentist Rochester Hills
Dental emergencies can range from a chipped tooth to an abscess, and typically don't occur at the most convenient times. Dr. Aurelia of Rochester Hills
can provide emergency dentistry when you need it most. Having a dental office that will take you in most any time of the day is crucial at easing your concerns when an emergency occurs. We do our best to help our patients, and make it our policy to see patients that are in pain as soon as possible.
When pain persists, it is important that patients call
Dr. Aurelia's office and get in as soon as possible. Don't wait too long to call! A lot of times issues such as toothaches and abscesses can be managed with antibiotics, but may eventually need dental care such as a root canal to address them. The importance of calling a dentist as soon as pain starts is crucial in getting the best care possible and possibly avoiding more costly emergency situations or procedures.
Knocked out a tooth? In the event you or your child knocks a tooth out of their mouth, it is important that you contact your dentist immediately for instructions as to how to proceed. Gently rinse the tooth to remove debris and try to gently replant the tooth in the socket. If it does not go back in easily, place in saliva, milk, or saline. Additionally, try to avoid touching the area in which the tooth came out, but keep the area moist if possible. Dr. Aurelia
will be able to address the problem as soon as possible and guide you as to how to handle the situation before getting to the dental practice. Cold compresses to relieve swelling may also be suggested, as well as other ways to get you or your child comfortable until treatment can be received.
The situation itself will depend upon the treatment offered, as every situation and individual is different. Whether it's a root canal or an extraction, Dr. Aurelia can diagnose the problem and provide several options when it comes to relieving the pain or addressing the damaged tooth. Together you will be able to make a decision as to what restoration or treatment plan fits your lifestyle and your budget.
Unforeseen problems happen, and it's nice to know that your local area dentist will be able to help you when the need occurs. Dr. Aurelia commits himself to providing both general and emergency dentistry to his patients, and is here for you when you need him most.
I had broken a tooth and really needed some help. I found this office on Yelp! as it was local. I called them, and given the situation they were able to get me in a few hours later, also giving me some up front info, telling me the price since I asked. My experience was quite amazing. Everyone was personable, the Dr. knew who I was when I walked in, having never been there. He also spent a few minutes chatting. The entire staff was extremely friendly! They checked into my insurance for me. I would certainly recommend Dr.Aurelia and his team, and I'm going to start going here for my routine work, not just my crazy dental emergencies.
